Refund & Cancellation Policy

UNBOXING VIDEO IS MANDATORY FOR ALL SHIPPING/PRODUCT RELATED CLAIMS. WITHOUT VIDEO NO CLAIMS WILL BE ENTERTAINED. 

1. Cancellation Before Shipment

If the product you wish to cancel has not yet been shipped, please email us at support@decantsforyou.com

  • All cancellations and returns must comply with our Returns & Cancellation Policy.

  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, distance selling legislation, or e-commerce regulations in the territory where the product is delivered.

2. Refund Timelines

  • Online Payments (Razorpay / UPI / Net Banking / Cards): Refunds will be processed to the same account used for payment within 24–48 business hours after we receive and verify the returned products. Depending on your bank, it may take 2–3 additional business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Refunds will be issued via bank transfer to the billing details you provide via email, within 24–48 business hours after we receive the returned products and your bank details. Bank processing may take an additional 2–3 business days.

3. Replacement Policy

  • If you have received the wrong product or a product past its expiry date, we will arrange a replacement only if the product is returned in its original packaging, with all seals, labels, and barcodes intact.

  • Foodstuff & Perishable Items:

    • Non-returnable once delivered, except in cases of product expiry.

    • If damaged at the time of delivery, you may reject the order upon receipt.

4. Special Payment Terms

  • Partial COD Orders: If an order is placed using Partial COD, the partial payment made will be non-refundable in case of cancellation. This is to cover freight and associated costs.

  • Pre-booking Orders: For orders placed with a pre-booking payment, the amount will be non-refundable if cancelled by the buyer, as the product is specially sourced for them.

5. Proof for Claims

  • Customers requesting a replacement must share a complete product unboxing video showing the package opening clearly. Eligibility will be assessed based on the provided video.

6. Product Unavailability

In the unlikely event that a product is unavailable or cannot be sourced due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund of the amount paid by you. The refund will be processed to your original payment method within standard timelines.

7. Decants Non-Returnable

All decants are non-returnable under any circumstances, as they are prepared and shipped specially for our buyers.

8. Non-Exchangeable & Non-Returnable Items

Returns will not be accepted under the following conditions:

  • Product is damaged due to misuse/overuse.

  • Returned without original packaging, price tags, labels, or accessories.

  • Serial number or barcode is tampered with.

  • Defective products not covered under Seller/Manufacturer’s warranty.

  • In case of promotional or festival offers, any free gifts included must be returned along with the main item.
